8th November

Today I had another meeting with Matt. He liked what I had created this week, but gave me a couple more weeks to do. I completed those in the evening.  I am very happy with my work for this module. I like I have created things that are visually striking and fit the brief.  I think the blog has been helpful, even though I didn't do it quite as thoroughly as I did for the first module.

5th November

Today I bought a piece of flexible neon light up wire and made a lightbulb to replace the glowstick star. As it was one long piece, it forced me to do a continuous line drawing style piece, which was very effective. I am very happy with the outcome of my final installation and think it looks better than the original one.

3rd December

Today I had my last textworks of the term. We had a lecture on the branding of Christmas, which was really interesting and fun. There was no seminar in the afternoon so I did some more work on changing the fonts of the video.

2rd December

Today I started work on making Matt's changes. I decided instead of having one poster with lots of text, I would make a different poster for each phrase, with a picture for each. I showed my friend who was in yesterday's meeting my idea and he liked it a lot. I also started making the other changes to the video and other elements.

1st December

Today I spent the morning doing some more work on my second video. Then in the afternoon, I had a virtual learning team with Matt. There were 2 other students this time. I really enjoyed seeing what they had been up to and commenting on their work. I have missed that.  Matt wasn't that impressed with what I had made. He liked my ideas but didn't approve of my type choice, my use of type on the poster, and thought I had overused the glow effect. He also disliked my star instillation.  I was quite upset about that. Particularly the star, as it had taken ages and I had run out of glow sticks. I didn't today any more work in the evening.
